One Month Down, Two More To Go!

Today is the one month mark!!  I have officially been in Provo for 31 days.  It most definitely doesn't feel like it's been that long!  This is the longest I have ever been away from home in my entire life and It has definitely been a great experience for me!  I think the longest I have been away from home is a week and it was for Girls Camp, and even then, I was surrounded by friends.  I cannot believe I'm too old to go to Girls Camp!!  It's always been one of my favorite weeks of the summer!
The last day of Girls Camp (Last year)
Not knowing anyone here except for Emily has probably been the hardest thing about moving here.  I am used to being outside quite a bit so being inside all day is a little hard to get used to.  I have watched soooooo many TV shows and movies since I've been that I feel like I'm going to run out!  I've already watched 3 seasons of Switched at Birth, 2 seasons of Say Yes To The Dress, 1 1/2 seasons of Once Upon a Time, and a bunch of movies.  Not to mention, practically every episode of The Pioneer Woman that is available plus hours of other Food Network shows. Ya, my life is pretty darn exciting ;)  On Tuesday, I got to register for my classes for my FIRST SEMESTER at BYUI!!  That was pretty stinkin CRAZY!!  For some reason, I couldn't add classes so I called and they said I had to call the registration office which didn't open till 8:00 so I got up early for nothing.  So, at a little before 8, I called and they fixed it.  So I started adding my classes.  I have to have at least 14 credits to get one of my scholarships but one of the classes I was planning on taking was already full so I had to find another class. I had signed up for Precalculus and Chemistry and there was no way I was taking them at the same time, my first semester so when I tried to drop Prcalc, It said that Chemistry had a prerequisite that I had to do.  I took calculus from BSU last year but BYUI said that I still had to do Precalc to be able to take Chemistry.  So I called the registration office.  They said that they couldn't do anything so they transferred me to a different department but they said that they couldn't do anything and that I needed to talk to the registration office...  Oh my goodness!  I told them I had just talked to the registration office so they said I needed to call my Chemistry teacher and have them okay it...  On my schedule, where the teacher was supposed to be, there was no name.  So I ended up just called the person in charge of the whole chemistry department and he told me I needed to talk to the registration office...  Okay, after hearing that, I was a little ticked but I told him I had talked to them already so he looked up my transcript and said that my calculus credits should take care of Precalculus or something like that.  Well when I went back to my schedule, I just deleted Precalculus and Chemistry, then added Chemistry by itself and everything was fine...  That was a little stressful but holy moly am I glad It's done!!
Anyways, I am only going to be here for about two more months!!  I can't believe how fast this first month has gone!!
